Dhedo
is most popular food in the remote and villiage area, but
these days dhedo making is loosing it's origin. People think
that dhedo is eaten only by poor people, but it is not true,
food is for appetite not for poor.
For
dhedo, you need water, one table spoon ghee, wheat flour
or corn flour. put water on the "karai"( nepali dish) ,add
ghee for flavour ,heat the water add some flour, let it
boil , add flour then stir it until the flour is cooked
wel, it will be a bit hard.. Make sure that the flour does
not lumps. Serve hot with chicken gravy as accompany.

Aloo Tareko (Fried Potatoes)

800 gm

Ginger

Preparation
Method
1. Boil whole potatoes, peel the skin and
cut into finger slices.
2. Heat oil and fry the potatoes till it turns to golden
brown.
3. Remove the excess oil from fried potatoes and keep frying
while you add cumin powder, nepali spices, turmeric powder,
ginger and garlic paste, chilly and salt for taste..
4. Cotinue cooking till the spices gets soaked.
5. Garnish with chopped coriander leaf.
6. Serve as accompany.

Mushroom
with Gravy

Ingredients
Mushroom 200 gm
Peas 40 gm
Onion 30 gm
Ginger Paste 10 gm
Garlic Paste 10 gm
Oi1 40 ml
Turmeric Powder 10 gm
Coriander leaf 10 gm
Tomatoes 40 gm
Cumin Powder 10 gm
Salt to taste
Nepali Spices(cumin powder, corrender powder)10gm
Method
Clean mushroom and slice it into thin pieces.
Boil green peas separately.
Heat the oil, sautee the julienne of onion till it gets
brown.
Add fine chopped mushroom, tomatoes, ginger and garlic paste,
green peas, chilly, nepali spices, salt and cook for few
minutes and serve hot.

Bandhel
Tareko (Fried Boar/Pork)
Ingredients
Wild Boar/Pork 800 gm
Ginger and Garlic Paste 15 gm
Mustard Oi1 40 ml
Turmeric Powder 12 gm
Salt to taste
Chopped Coriander leaf 15 gm
4 Slice of Lemon
Tomato 40 gm
Onion 30 gm
Cumin Powder 40 gm
Chilly Powder 10 gm
Preparation
Method
Boil
teh boar and let it cool, Slice the meat into thin slender
pieces. (keeping the pork skin & fat portion intact.)
Heat
oil and saute the meat till brown colour .
Add
julienne of onions, tomatoes, cumin powder,spieces, turmeric
powder, ginger & garlic paste chilly powder & salt
to taste.
Fry
it for 5 minutes and the boar is ready for serve.
